What we collect

If you create an account, we store your username, email address, password hash, admin status, email-verification status, and account creation date. Password-reset and email-verification links are stored as one-way token hashes with purpose, email address, expiry, use, and creation timestamps; the raw single-use token is sent by email and is not stored.

Content you explicitly generate or save in the public creative tools (textures, biomes, palettes, and saved masks) may include creator metadata so your work can appear in My creations and shared libraries. Files submitted to the Bulk Processor and its derived outputs remain private to your account and are not added to those shared libraries.

Contact messages store your name, email address, subject, message, optional signed-in user ID, IP address, user agent, and timestamp so we can respond and handle abuse.

Payments and point records

Stripe processes point-pack payments and recurring subscriptions and may receive your email address, billing details, payment-method information, IP address, device information, and transaction data under its privacy policy. TEXELMATIC does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

We retain Checkout Session, customer, subscription, and invoice identifiers; Stripe event identifiers; product and price details; payment and cancellation status; account linkage, point-ledger entries, and limited fraud-prevention records to fulfil purchases, prevent duplicate credit, provide support, reconcile payments, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

How we use your data

We use account data for sign-in, account management, attribution of generated content, admin tools, and service security.

Contact details are used only to respond to your message. Content deliberately created or saved through public creative tools may remain visible in shared libraries as part of the service; Bulk Processor sources and outputs do not.

Legal basis

We process your data to provide and maintain the service (contract), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests), and, where required, based on your consent (for optional features such as third-party embeds).

Cookies and storage

Essential cookies are used for sign-in, session management, and security. Browser storage may be used for tool handoffs, cookie preferences, and temporary workflow state.

Optional third-party content, such as Ko-fi support widgets, is only loaded after you give consent.

Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

Public-library content may remain after account deletion, with attribution changed to Anonymous. Private Bulk Processor files follow the retention window shown in the processor and are never converted into public-library entries.

Contact messages may be retained for a reasonable period to allow follow-up and abuse prevention. Payment and accounting records may be retained after account deletion where required for tax, legal, dispute, fraud-prevention, or bookkeeping purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data. You can manage your account details directly, or contact us to request data removal.

You also have the right to object to certain processing and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
